About us
Mind & Becoming is a small studio for reading, writing, and gentle planning in real life. Thoughtful materials and quiet design, made to be used, kept, and gifted.
We publish journals, notebooks, planners, and eBook guides for people who want to understand themselves a little better and move through change at a human pace.
Many tools we use every day are built around doing more, faster. Our work is a response to that. Instead of pushing constant improvement, we focus on calmer structure, clearer self-awareness, and pages you can return to on an ordinary day.
Why the name
Mind is what you are carrying right now: thoughts, feelings, memories, questions.
Becoming is the quiet process of shaping a life that feels more true. It lives in small choices, in how you spend your time, what you hold on to, what you let go of, and how you speak to yourself along the way. It is not about becoming a different person. It is about growing more into who you already are.
Mind & Becoming lives in the space between those two things: what you notice inside and what you gently change in everyday life. The name is a reminder that you do not have to be perfect before you begin. Attention and one small next step are enough.
What our tools are for
Our tools are designed to:
- hold your thoughts without pressure.
- make reading feel like a deep breath, not a task.
- bring a little steadiness to your week.
Our mission
To create quiet, realistic tools that help you pause, notice what matters, and move forward at a human pace.
Simple pages. Gentle guidance. Room to think.
What we offer
Print Editions
Structured planners and guided journals, with the method built into the pages.
eBook Guides
Psychology-informed guides with prompts, examples, and small practices across writing, reading, and gentle planning.
Canvas Prints
Quiet pieces that bring the words and colours of each collection onto your walls and shelves.
Notebooks
Clean pages and solid covers, simple on purpose.
Made to order
Most physical items are made after you place an order and shipped directly to you. We work with trusted print partners to produce each piece with care.
This made-to-order approach keeps the studio small and intentional, without large pre-printed runs.
About Daniela
Daniela Turano is a psychology graduate with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Essex (UK), and a leadership and career coach.
She writes about how we make sense of life as it changes: what shapes us, what stays, and how small steps help us begin again.
She is the founder of Mind & Becoming, an independent, psychology-informed publishing studio creating journals, planners, notebooks, and eBook guides for people seeking calmer structure and clearer self-awareness.
Her work is educational and reflective, and it is not a substitute for psychotherapy, diagnosis, or medical care.
