My name is Daniela.
For eighteen years I worked in leadership and compliance roles across the UK and Europe. I was good at it and I genuinely loved it, the people, the complexity, the responsibility. Along the way, a manager I respected suggested I train formally as a coach. I did, and something shifted. I discovered I was just as interested in how people think and grow as I was in how organisations work.
I began working with women, helping them get promoted, find their confidence, navigate moments of change. Then the pandemic arrived, and coaching became something deeper. I decided I needed to understand human behaviour more seriously. I left my corporate role, moved to Italy, and in 2025 graduated in Psychology from the University of Essex with a First Class degree.
I started writing. I wanted to write about beginning again, about the moment when something in you shifts and you realise it is time to move in a new direction. That theme has been with me through every change I have made.
Mind and Becoming grew from that writing, and from a simple creative ambition: to build something bigger than a coaching practice. Books, guides, and writing tools that help someone begin. Not a programme. Not a method. Just a well-designed place to start.
A Date with a Notebook is that place.
There is more to come. But this is where we begin.
