The illustration was created by La Petite Épicerie’s in-house design team, drawing on the balance between nature and architecture found throughout Japanese visual culture. Soft colours, precise details and a poetic atmosphere turn the finished painting into a piece you can frame and display in your home.
The illustration is divided into numbered areas, with each number corresponding to one of the 18 prepared paint colours. Simply label the pots using the numbered stickers provided, choose one of the two brushes and gradually fill in each section as the complete landscape begins to emerge.
Designed to take approximately 15 to 20 hours, Mount Fuji offers a longer creative project to enjoy over several quiet sessions. No previous painting experience is needed, and everything required to complete the illustration is included in the box.
