Illustrated by Sabina Fenn, *Balade dans les Calanques* takes you to the dramatic coastline of the South of France. Hidden coves, turquoise water and majestic cliffs come together in a sunlit scene inspired by the unspoilt beauty of the French Mediterranean.
Based in Toronto, Sabina Fenn draws inspiration from the simple pleasures of everyday life. Her compositions are rich in texture and depth, with visible brushstrokes that reveal something of the creative process behind each image. Walks along the beach and time spent outdoors with her dog also shape the warm, distinctive landscapes found in her work.
The illustration is divided into numbered areas, with each number corresponding to one of the 18 prepared paint colours. Simply label the pots using the numbered stickers provided, choose one of the two brushes and gradually fill in each section as the Mediterranean landscape begins to emerge.
Designed to take approximately 15 to 20 hours, *Balade dans les Calanques* offers a longer creative project to enjoy over several quiet sessions. No previous painting experience is needed, and once completed, the illustration can be framed and displayed in your home.
